When a PIE member selects your nonprofit as their cause, you begin receiving passive, recurring donations generated from their everyday business expenses, at zero cost to them or to you.

PIE actively advocates for that relationship to continue year after year, because consistent, long-term giving creates deeper impact than a one-time donation. While every member ultimately chooses their own cause, nurturing lasting partnerships is at the heart of everything we do.

The proof is in the partnerships: some members have supported the same nonprofit for five consecutive years, not because they had to, but because PIE helped them see the value of showing up consistently for a cause they believe in.

Referrals

How referrals work

Referring is optional, and it pays. Both ways, for as long as the relationship lasts.

You refer a business
You will receive a donation equal to 50% of that business’s available margin for as long as they choose you as their nonprofit cause. All PIE businesses referred by a nonprofit receive donations for at least a two-year period. If they ever pick a different cause, PIE locks in 5% of our revenue from that member for as long as they remain a member.
You refer another nonprofit
When they join as a partner, your organization receives 5% of PIE’s revenue from that relationship for as long as they remain part of the PIE community. Your referrals never stop working for you.
